2006 Lotus Elise Sports Racer or £15,000

The Lotus Elise Sports Racer was built as a celebration of the brand’s racing heritage. Limited to just 100 examples for the UK market, it combined the lightweight, driver-focused DNA of the Elise with retro-inspired design touches, giving a nod to Lotus race cars from the 1950s and ’60s.

Two colour options were offered, Ardent Red and Nightfall Blue. Each one had white racing stripes and unique interior stitching. The Elise Sports Racer had lightweight forged alloy wheels, upgraded Eibach springs, Bilstein dampers, twin oil coolers, and Lotus Traction Control. It’s powered by a 189bhp VVTL-i engine, giving the car a 0 – 62mph time of 5.2 seconds before it carries on to a top speed of 150mph.

Our 2006 Lotus Elise Sports Racer, finished in Nightfall Blue, is a fantastic example of this rare and sought-after model. It carries the designation number 001 of 100, making it the very first of the UK allocation.
