Built in Blackpool with a fibreglass body over a tubular chassis. It was designed as the more touring-friendly companion to the Griffith, offering relative comfort mixed with sporting performance.
Our 1998 TVR Chimaera 500 was first registered in August 1998 and is finished in Peacock Blue. It has the desirable 5.0-litre Rover-derived V8.
It has very clearly been well looked after and comes with an extremely well-documented history, including 23 service stamps, invoices covering most of its life, and a recent service at 74,000 miles by Fenhurst TVR.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.
