This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.

Our 1996 Mercedes-Benz SL600 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic with a Grey leather interior. It is one of those examples that reminds you why the R129 is so highly regarded.

Powered by a 6-litre M120 V12, it’s an extremely powerful car that gives you speed and power, while still offering the luxury you’d expect from this type of car.  

Our SL600 was built in January 1996 and left the factory on 13th February of the same year. It was built to an incredibly high specification and had almost every possible premium feature available at the time. Some of the rare optional extras include the desirable panoramic hardtop with glass panel and internal sunblind, and small occasional rear seats were fitted instead of the parcel shelf. It also had the self-levelling suspension all around with the Adaptive Damping System. 

Having the panoramic hardtop and ADS together makes this specific example one of the most desirable R129 configurations.
