Description

Win our outstanding Ltd Edition 1995 Mazda Efini RX-7 Type R Bathurst

It’s true, you could soon be the proud owner of this awesome machine.

The king of JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) modern classics, the RX-7 really does live up to the hype and we have one of the very best, rarest, low mileage RX-7’s in the world.

This is a bold statement to make for sure, but wait til you hear what this car has to offer. Enthusiasts, collectors, admirers, investors get ready…

Efini was a luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automotive manufacturer we know as Mazda and operated between 1991 and 1997 in Japan only.

The Mazda Efini RX-7 Type R Bathurst were limited to 500 units purely for the Japanese domestic market. This car is believed to be the only one in the UK which makes this incredibly special.

Our 1995 Mazda Efini RX-7 Type R Bathurst is genuinely stunning. The paintwork hasn’t a single blemish, scratch or stone chip. This carries through into the interior which looks like it has never been sat in. We really cannot overstate just how immaculate this example is.

This limited edition model had the highest power to weight ratio among the RX7 series. The twin turbocharged Japanese legend is one of the most collectable cars of the 1990’s. Value of these rare machines have been rocketing in recent years so to find an example as good as this is almost unheard of.

Having covered just 12,221 kilometers (7,500 miles) this vehicle has been beautifully kept by it’s two (yes two!) previous keepers. One owner in Japan and one in the UK who has dry stored the vehicle since it’s arrival in 2016. The car comes with a full MOT undertaken recently. The Bathurst name was chosen to commemorate the Bathurst 12-hour race in Australia, where the RX-7 was victorious for three consecutive years (1992 through 1994

Imported from Japan by a Japanese car collector this RX-7 has wanted for nothing in its lifetime.

The Japanese auction report which are notoriously thorough and strict awarded this car a 4.5 overall (Very slightly used) with an interior top rating of A (Condition as new) this was at 11,691kms.

Since being imported into the UK in December 2016, the car has been further inspected by Mazda Motors UK Ltd, acting as representatives of the Mazda Motor Corporation of Hiroshima Japan with official documentation to show for it.

The RX-7 made Car and Drivers ‘Ten Best List’ an outstanding five times.
