This beautifully restored 1975 MGB Roadster is a fantastic example of one of Britain’s most iconic sports cars, presented in its original Tundra Green. Built at the Abingdon factory and first registered on 8th January 1975, this car is part of the later rubber-bumper generation of MGB production.
This particular MGB is extra special, though, as it has undergone a full nut-and-bolt restoration by the workshop team here at Bridge Classic Cars. The restoration has been documented extensively and shows how the car was stripped back to a bare shell before being carefully rebuilt to an extremely high standard. Structural work included the replacement of key panels such as inner and outer sills, wings, and front valance. The shell was then refinished in its correct factory Tundra Green.
During the restoration, the 1.8-litre B-Series engine was rebuilt, while the suspension, braking system, steering components, and rear axle were all overhauled. A new wiring loom was installed, alongside subtle upgrades to improve reliability and usability.
Inside, the cabin has been fully retrimmed in tan leather. New carpets, restored trim elements, and a fresh convertible hood have been fitted.
Since the completion of its restoration in 2019, our MGB has been lightly used and extremely well maintained, covering only minimal mileage. This gentle use is reflected in its condition today, which remains exceptional.
Our 1975 MGB Roadster is as stunning as it was when it first left the factory and is ready to get back out on the road with its lucky new owner.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.
