Description

The Rover enthusiasts amongst you will know that Rover never made a 4500S. However, this unique vehicle is the result of a full nut and bolt restoration in the late 1990s when a more powerful 4.5-litre V8 was installed into a 3500S, and ‘Beastie’ was born.

The P6 was the sixth and final stage of the Rover P design. Initially, the P6 arrived as the 2000 which was already advanced for its time, with a De Dion tube suspension at the rear, four-wheel disc brakes (inboard on the rear), and correct, full synchromesh gearbox from a Rover 4.5 SD1 Vitesse. After the award-winning 2000, came the 2200 as well as the range-topping 3500S which our P6 4500S started its life as.

Affectionately known as ‘Beastie’ in P6 circles, this is an extremely well-known classic car that has won multiple awards and has been featured at the NEC Classic Motor Show on several occasions.

Our beautiful P6 4500S is finished in Almond with a Huntsman Roof and Sandalwood Boxpleat Ambla Interior. Generating 280bhp, the SD1 4.5-litre stage 3 engine gives our P6 all the power you need while the luxurious interior and eye-catching exterior offer exceptionally high levels of style and comfort too.

A real head-turner, our 1972 Rover P6 4500S is a show-winning classic car that one very lucky person will get to drive away with soon.
