As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.

Our 1970 MGC Roadster is one of the desirable home market RHD examples and is still finished in its original colour of Tartan Red with Black leather interior with Red piping.

It was supplied new to Kennings Ltd of Sheffield on 5th May 1969 and has been well-loved ever since. It underwent a restoration in 2008, which included a full body renovation and repaint, engine overhaul utilising an unleaded head, carburettor refresh and balanced crank, new overdrive gearbox, stainless steel exhaust, re-cored radiator, new wire wheels, brake refresh, and more.

Since the restoration was completed, the car has covered less than 4000 miles. Since 2018, it has been used sparingly and has had more than £3000 of maintenance work completed, including a full service in 2023, new engine and water hoses in 2022, electronic ignition, suspension improvement, attention to the brakes, new wheel bearings, and a refresh of the cooling equipment.

Our 1970 MGC Roadster comes with a history file containing a BMIHT Heritage Certificate, MOTs dating back to 1977, restoration photos, and a collection of invoices.
