Our MGC Roadster was built between 21st and 26th March 1968 and dispatched on 29th March. It is a genuine UK home-market, right-hand-drive car, and comes with its British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate.
Well specified from new, the car was factory equipped with overdrive, wire wheels, heater, and tonneau cover, making it a very usable example. After its early life in the UK, the car spent a period of time in Germany, where it was carefully maintained, documented, and subject to restoration work.
The engine has been upgraded to fast-road specification, including triple Weber carburettors, a modified cylinder head, and internal improvements, offering enhanced performance while keeping the character of the original 3-litre straight-six. This is complemented by a rebuilt drivetrain and refreshed suspension, resulting in a car that delivers strong performance and relative comfort.
Repatriated to the UK in 2022, our MGC is now ready to be won and continue into its next chapter.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.
