Description

This car runs on Synthetic Fuel.
This car can be run on synthetic fuel as well as traditional petrol.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.

Originally built on the 1st of November 1966, FBM 109E began its life in Bedfordshire in 1967 after leaving the Jaguar factory at the end of December 1966. The car was ordered in right-hand drive with Cream paintwork over a Black leather interior in a 2+2 configuration, just as you see it today – according to the certificate from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust issued in 2018.

Fitted with a 4.2-litre, smooth yet powerful, straight-six engine backed up by a 4-speed manual gearbox, this stunning Series 1 E-Type has got all the right hallmarks of a true classic car icon.

The car was recommissioned by the Bridge Classic Cars team to get this stunning GT car back on the road for its lucky new owner to enjoy and soak up the miles watching the world fly by past its iconic clamshell bonnet. These works include, a full brake rebuild, rebuilt pedal box assembly, refreshed intake system, a full service, new steering column bushes (all work can be seen by clicking on the project button)

The car’s history file includes multiple specialist invoices and MOT certificates over the last decade from the likes of SNG Barratt and Martin Robey.

This is your chance to win the most sought-after generation, of one of the most sought-after sports cars of all time.
