Congratulations to Ken Hardy, winner with ticket number 305
First registered in January 1952, our rare MG YA Saloon is a fantastic example of one of MG’s most recognisable post-war models. Powered by a 1250cc XPAG engine paired with a manual gearbox, it creates a perfect snapshot of the early 1950s British motoring landscape.
Finished in the desirable “Cream Cracker” colour combination of brown over cream, the car also has a beautiful tan leather interior.
Our 1952 MG YA has been in long-term ownership for the last 11 years, during which time it has clearly been well cared for and maintained. The engine has been rebuilt, a stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted, and a professionally re-trimmed leather interior has also been installed. Extras include a factory-style sunroof and rear window blind.
This car appears to be well-known within enthusiast circles, making it extra desirable. These are rarely seen on the road today, so it would be a real attention-grabber for the lucky winner.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.
