Our 1944 Ford GPW Jeep is a genuine Second World War military vehicle, built by Ford Motor Company as part of the U.S. Army’s ¼-ton 4×4 programme.
Our Jeep is built on an original Ford GPW chassis, and is powered by the correct Ford GPW engine, rather than a later civilian or post-war replacement.
Similar to many wartime Jeeps, ours has a Willys MB-pattern body tub. During and after the war, Jeeps were often rebuilt using available parts. That means our Ford GPW is historically accurate and a true representation of real military service vehicles rather than modern replicas.
Finished in traditional military olive drab, it has fantastic period-correct styling, including classic U.S. Army markings, simple interior, and the recognisable open-top design. There is also a shovel and gun holder too!
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. This is a like-for-like fossil-free alternative to petrol that reduces emissions by up to 80%. This can be mixed with traditional petrol and no modifications to the car are required. You can fuel this car with traditional petrol – we simply use synthetic fuel as part of our sustainability goals.
