Greg and our fabricator Greg have been working together to get the 1966 Land Rover Series 2A ready for its new owner.
‘Carry out pdi. Fit nut and bolt to nearside door check strap. Remove earth strap from engine and re route and secure. Replace fuel pipe from lift pump to carb and secure. Check axle and gearbox levels, ok. Chassis corroded and holed offside front area.‘
‘Prep area ready for Greg to weld. Strip and remove startermotor and test. Motor works fine. Refit and connect and retest. Still not engaging properly. Make and fit new earth lead and fit from battery to engine. Starts fine now. Anthony drove it and said it was OK. So I’m done with it once it’s been welded.’
