As our 1931 Austin Twelve Six will soon be leaving our Suffolk restoration workshops to begin its life with its very lucky new owner, who’s been waiting 40 years to get a pre-war classic, the car needs to be checked over and ticked off by our amazing restoration technician Jon. Here’s what Jon has been doing on the 94 year old saloon car.

”Carry out PDI. Refit b pillar trim nearside. Inflate all tyres and tighten wheel nuts. Grease all points. Cut piece of textured rubber and stick to clutch pedal and refit/stick metal securing ring. Fill with P1 fuel and take outside and drive back and forth. John road test for me, all OK.”
