After being recently won, our workshop technician Jon got the 1972 Rover P5 Coupe back into the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop to get it ready for its new home.

‘Get on ramp. Carry out PDI. Put battery on charge. Raise and drain oil. Investigate offside rear interior light stuck on. Earth not connected so must be earthing through another light. Remove bulb and refit. All front interior lights work. Refit and torque up sump bung. Fill with thicker 50w oil. Inflate tyres and torque wheel nuts. Run up and take outside to warm up. When hot check oil light doesn’t flicker when car in gear with foot on brake. Seems OK now.’
