Our paint and body team work miracles on a daily basis, like this one. Our 1969 Audi 70/72L has been transformed into its final set up with Black over Cream bodywork which has been done by our paint and body technician Chris. This restoration has been done by the Bridge Classic Cars in-house team but this project also begins a new chapter in our sustainability efforts with the use of a more eco-friendly top coat from the team at Lechler.
Whilst the bodyshell was left to cure, Chris could begin to flatten and polish the various panels with the new eco-friendly top coat really standing out for the paint and body team. Then Chris could get started on flattening and polishing the contrasting black roof whilst Dave, in our resotration workshop, could get started on prepping various parts and pieces ahead of the cars reassembly and Mauro could get other pieces sprayed into hardwearing and durable paint.
