Here at Bridge Classic Cars, we run all of our competition cars on synthetic fuel. From the beginning, we have always partnered with P1 Fuels. We have continued our support of the P1 team and products during their recent financial troubles, and we are very happy to hear things are looking extremely positive moving forward.
The Sisemen Group, parent company of Nemesis Ltd, has acquired the assets of P1 Fuels GmbH.
This move brings all P1 operations under UK ownership, with Nemesis Ltd, formerly the UK’s largest importer and distributor of P1 Fuels, now overseeing both supply and market support.
The acquisition includes everything from stock, raw materials, intellectual property, production and R&D facilities, and the full distribution network. While global sales and research will stay in Germany, all operations and marketing will now be run from the UK.
“We are delighted to invest our efforts in the world of sustainable fuels, and the news has been well received by both customers and suppliers. Our advanced biofuels are available now and can be used in place of traditional petrol pretty much anywhere, so provides an immediate opportunity for change in the pursuit of sustainability. There are still grey areas and question marks around the topic. With mandates in leading areas such as F1 and with many more to come, we want to forge forwards and refresh the brand as an open and honest innovator in providing alternatives to fossil fuels.”
Chris Chance, CEO of the Sisemen Group
Fuel production has already restarted, with the same high-performance biofuels that have powered everything from the “Beast of Turin” to Sebastian Vettel’s ex-Ayrton Senna McLaren and Nigel Mansell’s 1992 F1 title-winning Williams. These fuels also continue to feature in events like the World Rally Championship, FIA World Karting, and the Formula Regional Oceania Championship.
A full brand refresh, including a new name and logo, is set to be released ahead of the 2026 motorsport season. The fuels themselves, however, will remain unchanged as they are still among the most advanced on the market.
“As one of the largest importers and distributors of P1 Fuels, we know that the formulations are widely regarded as one of the best performing products out there. We were struggling to find a suitable alternative and thanks to our parent company, the Sisemen Group, we don’t have to. We welcome the brand refresh, combined with an outstanding product, to reaffirm links with customers as well as creating new ones.”
Stuart Bruce, Managing Director of Nemesis Ltd
Beyond motorsport, the Sisemen Group is aiming to grow into aviation, marine, and off-grid sectors, addressing previous supply challenges and broadening the reach of synthetic fuels.
