Just one year after launching in the UK, OMODA has become the country’s fastest-growing car brand.

In the twelve months since its arrival, the premium SUV maker has introduced three new models, rolled out a national dealer and service network, and completed more than 25,000 UK sales. In fact, in July 2025, OMODA UK and its sister brand JAECOO held a 2.71% share of the UK market.

The first vehicles to be released were the OMODA 5 and the fully electric OMODA E5. Both compact SUVs have bold styling, accessible pricing, and advanced tech for the segment. A MY25 update has already further improved both models, bringing upgraded materials, better driving dynamics, and increased connectivity features.

The flagship OMODA 9 SHS, a plug-in hybrid SUV, followed earlier this year. It made an immediate impact after covering 730 miles across nine countries on a single battery charge and one tank of fuel, beating its official WLTP range. It also earned a five-star rating under Euro NCAP’s latest 2025 protocols, completing a full five-star safety line-up for OMODA UK.

Alongside the product launches, the brand has focused heavily on customer experience. OMODA now has 81 dealerships nationwide and opened a central London showroom in April 2025, designed as an immersive retail space showcasing the brand’s design-led ethos.

OMODA’s momentum has extended beyond sales, too. The brand has been recognised across the industry, from award wins to guest speaker invitations at events like the SMMT Summit and the Financial Times Future of the Car.

With more models on the way and continued retail expansion planned, OMODA enters its second year aiming to build on its early success. The future certainly looks promising for one of the country’s newest brands.

Further announcements on new launches are expected in the coming months.
