Here is a short story from Phil Pownall and his 1948 Triumph Roadster, told in Phil’s own words.
“In the early 1970s, when I was in my early 20s, my dad had a 1948 Triumph Roadster.
The picture shows my then-girlfriend, now my lovely wife for 48 years, in the car. I recently posted this picture on a classic car Facebook page, and someone sent me a recent photo of the car.
Doesn’t she look beautiful now!
When my father owned her, she was pale blue with a white hood.”
