Morgan Motor Company has teased its new six-cylinder flagship model. The images that have been released today show a camouflaged prototype going through its advanced road testing. The official name of the new car is yet to be revealed but it is due to make its debut in spring.

The car will be coachbuilt on Morgan’s all-new ‘CXV’ platform. This is an evolution of its current bonded aluminium chassis. It will have a BMW six-cylinder turbocharged engine as well as a whole host of “technical features and engineering advancements”.
Although the prototype images do not actually show the final design, Morgan has said that the new flagship car will be “instantly recognisable as a Morgan” and will blend classic aesthetics with a more contemporary and aerodynamically refined silhouette.
This launch follows the November 2024 announcement that the Plus Six is ending production with a limited run of Plus Six Pinnacle models. This limited-edition run will be the final examples of the now sold-out model. While not a direct replacement for the Plus Six, the new flagship will sit at the top of Morgan’s model line-up.
Further details, including the official launch date, will be announced soon.
