New brackets for the air filter on the 1969 Audi 72L

Will has been working through some of the final little jobs before the 1969 Audi L 72PS is ready to meet its future. And at this point, its making brackets for the classic Audi’s air filter.

”Sand and scotchbrite air filter housing cap on the inside to clean up, begin to make air filter housing brackets, cut 2mm steel on guillotine. Fold steel to shape for air filter housing brackets, drill mounting holes in steel, scotch bright for paint , prime brackets, paint in gloss black, dry with heat gun, drill rivit holes in fan cowling, rivit on bracket on to cowling and bolt the other onto the inlet manifold, bolt air filter housing onto brackets.”
