Here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshops, we’ve seen cars in every state you could imagine. From a 100 foot long pile of parts to complete, ground up restorations and everything in between. But, yesterday we welcomed one of our favourite kinds of classics – ‘Time Capsules’. They’ve lived a life and been put away but as time waits for no one, it also waits for no car and cause them to deteriorate but strangely in certain circumstances it can also preserve them, freezing them in time. Just like this, our 1981 Saab 99 Turbo.
Now we’re no stranger to a barn find here at the restoration HQ, many of our restoration begin much like this 1980’s turbocharged saloon. Soon, the car will be cleaned down (so we had to capture it in its ‘as found’ state) and then taken into the restoration workshops for the Bridge Classic Cars restoration team to begin work.
