Mini Cooper Repairs

To diagnose the issue with the main beam tell-tale light, Jonn removed the dash of our 1994 Rover Mini Cooper and checked the instrument cluster. The bulb itself was fine, and the PCB had continuity across the circuit, but there was no power supply to the bulb.

After tracing the wiring, Jonn confirmed the switch wires were intact. A new connection was made by joining a feed from the main beam switch to the cluster wire. Testing confirmed everything was working correctly.

With the wiring secured using cable ties and tape, the instrument cluster and dash were refitted. Jonn also adjusted the top dash bracket for a more secure fit before reinstalling the stereo, column cowling, and tidying up the wiring under the column.

A solid fix, ensuring everything is back in place and functioning as it should!
