After Mauro had touched up the paint in the engine bay of our 1968 MGB GT, Jonn completed an oil and filter change. He began by raising the vehicle and draining the old engine oil. With the car lowered, he removed the oil filter from the engine bay and cleaned up a small amount of spilt oil.

A new filter was then fitted, and the sump bung was refitted and torqued to specification. Jonn refilled the engine with fresh oil, ran the engine, and carried out a test.

After topping up the oil to the correct level, he ran the engine again and confirmed that the oil pressure was satisfactory.
