The first quarter of 2026 is done, and what a quarter it was!
Here’s a look back at March 2026 here at Bridge Classic Cars…
Workshop
The workshop team has been hard at work with restorations continuing to make progress, and lots more service and maintenance jobs coming through the door.
Our 1979 Aston Martin DBS has made good progress through its restoration journey, with attention being given to its suspension and engine bay.
Our 1972 MGB Roadster has had new brake lines, bumper and overriders as part of its recommissioning. It has also had its brake drums sandblasted and is continuing to move closer to leaving us.
We have another Jensen 541R in the workshop too. This is a make and model that we have a huge amount of experience with, so there’s never much time between one leaving and another coming into the workshop. The 1960 example currently with us has had its seats modified to improve comfort for its owner.
The workshop team have also started work on the first of several Toyota Hiluxs from a large personal collection.
We’ve also welcomed some new arrivals to the workshop this month, including a 2023 Porsche 911, some very special Ducati motorbikes, a 2019 Porsche 911, and a 1980 Mercedes 280SL.
To see what has been happening throughout the rest of the workshop, you can see all of our current projects here.

Media
On the media side of things, we’ve spoken about whether selling your car privately is actually better, we shared some images of the new Ferrari Amalfi Spider, and the full story of several cars, including a 1937 Frazer Nash-BMW 328 Roadster.
All of the big automotive news stories from March can be seen here.
Our Talking Classics series also continued with a great interview with Molecular UK.
You can read this and all of our Talking Classics features here.
Bridge Classic Cars Kids
Our children’s book has gone to print and is available to pre-order right now!
The Story of Rilee is our debut storybook, introducing Rilee, a very old, very special car brought back to life in a world very different from the one he remembers.
Alongside new friends Luxy and Eco, Rilee learns to navigate change with kindness, acceptance, and innovation, showing that even the oldest things can still have a meaningful place in the modern world.
Inspired by the real restoration journey of a one-of-one 1905 prototype Riley, The Story of Rilee gently introduces children to the importance of preserving our history while embracing more sustainable ways of living.
You can pre-order one of the first edition books here.
