Ipswich Town Women will play their home games at Colchester United’s JobServe Community Stadium across the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons, as the Club prepares for its first campaign in the newly renamed WSL2.

This is a very positive step after playing home games at Felixstowe & Walton United’s Martello Ground for more than 10 years. Following promotion in April, Ipswich Town Women step into second-tier football for the first time in their history. Alongside the Women’s team, Ipswich’s men’s Under 21s will also play select fixtures at the Colchester stadium during the two-year arrangement.

To fully prepare the pitch at the JobServe Community Stadium, there will be significant upgrades completed ahead of the upcoming season.

The Club also confirmed plans for the Women’s team to return to Portman Road for at least one fixture during the 2025/26 season, following record attendances in recent years. Meanwhile, long-term efforts are underway to secure a permanent home for the Women’s team in the Ipswich area.

Ipswich Town extended thanks to Colchester United and Chairman Robbie Cowling for their support in finalising the agreement.
