Ben has been fitting the bumpers on our 1976 Jensen Interceptor, fabricating new front mounting sections by cutting and adapting two rubber exhaust hangers. He has also installed the fuel cap cover, door lock solenoid, interior door handle mechanism, and door light switches, wiring these components in as part of the process. Chrome parts were polished during installation to ensure a clean finish.
New terminals have been fitted to the rear lights, and the speaker plates have been sandblasted and repainted. For the lighting panel, Ben carefully cut the replacement plastic, aligning it precisely with the pattern on the underside. Using a heat gun, he shaped the piece to fit correctly before securing it in place with Araldite. Once set, the area was sanded and polished to achieve a smooth, consistent finish.
