JAECOO has expanded its UK line-up with two new additions to the JAECOO 7 range.

Following a strong debut year, the brand is continuing to build on its momentum with the introduction of the JAECOO 7 SHS-P Black Luxury and the all-new JAECOO 7 SHS-H full hybrid.

Plug-in Hybrid

The JAECOO 7 SHS-P Black Luxury is available exclusively in the top-spec Luxury trim and priced from £36,500 OTR. It features a comprehensive black styling package. This includes a black front grille, darkened badging, black mirrors, roof, wheels, and roof rails. This dark theme carries on inside, too, with a black headliner and sun visors.

A New Full-Hybrid Option

Alongside the Black Luxury edition, JAECOO has introduced the JAECOO 7 SHS-H. This is the brand’s first full-hybrid model in the UK.

Available in Pure and Deluxe trims, prices start from £29,195 OTR, rising to £32,795 OTR for the higher specification. Both versions come well equipped, with the entry-level Pure model featuring tweed cloth upholstery, a 13.2-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and front and rear parking sensors.

The Deluxe model adds eco-leather upholstery, an upgraded 8-speaker sound system, and a larger 14.8-inch infotainment display.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a self-charging hybrid system, producing 224PS (around 221bhp). This setup delivers a 0-62 mph time of 8.3 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph, while giving you up to 53 mpg (WLTP) and CO2 emissions of 125 g/km.

The hybrid system has been designed specifically for efficiency and features a range of technologies, including a Deep Miller Cycle combustion process and intelligent thermal management. The result is a claimed thermal efficiency of 44.5% and low noise levels during normal driving.

Building On Early Success

JAECOO has recorded more than 35,000 registrations since launch, with the JAECOO 7 proving particularly popular. In February 2026 alone, 1,446 units were sold, making it the fifth best-selling car of the month. Electrified models have played a big part in that success, with plug-in hybrid variants accounting for over 70% of JAECOO 7 sales throughout 2025.

The introduction of the SHS-H now broadens that appeal further, offering customers the benefits of electrification without the need to plug in, while the Black Luxury edition adds a more premium and individual option to the existing range.
