Ipswich Town beat Coventry City 3 – 0 at Portman Road, ending Coventry’s five-game winning run in the Championship.

After Sindre Walle Egeli scored just before half-time, George Hirst doubled the lead after 60 minutes before Marcelino Núñez scored the third during the five minutes of injury time.

It was a fantastic result that bumped Ipswich up the table and put an end to Coventry’s dominating performance so far this season.

Lydia Walmsley

Lydia Walmsley is a local (and very talented) race driver. Currently competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, Lydia has already achieved lots of success in her racing career.

She’s been racing since she was seven, and, after quickly showing her potential in karting, she won championships in back-to-back seasons.

Lydia was only 14 when she started competing in full race cars. She went through the Junior Saloon Car Championship, then the Mini Challenge Cooper class, and eventually into the JCW Championship. It was here that she became the first woman ever to stand on a JCW podium, as well as beating the fastest lap time by more than a second in the final race of the season.

Rebecca and Clement

The creators of Smashing Wines, Rebecca and Clement, have owned and run several local businesses.

Rebecca has a huge amount of experience in the food and drink world, as she spent seven years running a Japanese kitchen knife company before becoming the Marketing Director for Jamie Oliver’s restaurant group.

Clement grew up in Bordeaux, meaning he has always had an appreciation for great wine. He has also been involved in the industry for many years, having run both a deli and a wine shop in Bordeaux and Meribel before moving to England.

Smashing Wines is all about championing small, high-quality producers, with a focus on organic and biodynamic winemakers from across France. They now have strong relationships with a wide range of winemakers and UK exclusivity on many wines.
