The team in the Bridge Classic Cars have been full steam ahead on the 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Volante, with our technician Ben heading up much of this project.
”The manifold has been cleaned and refitted and the coolants ways have been properly sealed. All throttle and choke connected have been greased. The airbox seal has been cut and stuck. The box and stub stacks have been bolted up with gaskets on all surfaces. The airfilter pipe has been sealed with tape after been fitted with new fixings. New fuel filter and new power steering fluid fitted before hand.”
Ben then moved his way above the classic Aston Martin to get the newly refurbished hood frame installed into the car along with its bespoke hood carpets.
”Fitting up the frame that Steve reassembled. New carpets fixed in as the old were perished. All joints greased.”
