The 1955 Aston Martin DB2 Drophead Coupe, which is being fully restored from the ground up here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshops Suffolk HQ, has met another massive milestone in this amazing project.

The freshly rebuilt straight-six and manual gearbox arrived back recently at our restoration workshop ready to go into the refurbished chassis. Our technician Rob, who has been heading up this project, carefully lowered the engine block and gearbox into the chassis before then test fitting the radiator, radiator braces aswell as the custom made cowel panels.

A big step forward in this very special project.
