With the Bridge Classic Cars paint and body team steaming ahead with their part of the restoration of our 2005 Mercedes Vito, our paint and body tech Adam has been working his methodically through the car. This time, he found a small patch of rust on our van so it had to go. He carefully cut out the section to be used as a template for a patch panel to be fabricated and welded back into the van, after that everything was grinded back down and ready to go.

The paint and body team have also worked there magic on the seperate panels of the Vito, with the wings and many other plastic trim pieces going into our spray booth/oven to be primed ready for flatening and final colour soon.

While these pieces cured, Adam could swtich his attention back to the main bodyshell of our trusty van. He has gone through every section and carefully levelled all the panels before they are moved onto the next stage of the vans restoration.
