Hennessey Special Vehicles has just revealed the Venom F5 Evolution, and, to put it simply, it’s an absolute monster! The Venom F5 is the most powerful internal combustion road car on the planet. The Texas-built hypercar comes with a range of updates designed to increase performance, handling, and everyday usability.

Driven by customer feedback and developed with input from some of the best performance and aero specialists, the Evolution refines the already-impressive F5. Key upgrades include a reworked suspension, enhanced aerodynamics, and a substantial power increase.

More Power

The Evolution has an upgraded version of Hennessey’s ‘Fury’ engine – a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V8 now producing 2,031 bhp and 1,445 lb-ft of torque. Developed in collaboration with Ilmor Engineering, the engine features bespoke billet pistons, giant 76/80 mirror-image turbos, and lightweight components throughout. This results in a 0–200 mph time of just 10.3 seconds.

Upgrades

A new adaptive suspension system gives the driver full control over the car’s personality, with five drive modes including Sport, Road, Drag, Wet, and the full-blast F5 Mode.

The Evolution also benefits from a detailed aerodynamic makeover. Under the guidance of F1 and IndyCar aerodynamicist Dr. Mark Handford, the team reshaped the front splitter and underbody, added dive planes, deflectors, and louvres above the wheel arches. A revised rear spoiler lip adds downforce, working with the new suspension to keep things stable at speed.

Touring Package

Hennessey is also offering a ‘Touring’ package. This features optional upgrades that include more comfortable carbon seats, a quieter exhaust, and a carbon fibre drinks holder. It’s all designed to make long-distance journeys a bit more civilised, without losing the Hennessey fun.
