Hennessey has introduced the Venom F5 Evolution, a reworked version of its hypercar, and it has become the world’s most powerful internal combustion road car.
Developed in response to customer feedback, the new model brings significant gains in power, handling, aerodynamics, and comfort. Partnering with Ilmor Engineering, Hennessey has pushed the limits of its 6.6-litre ‘Fury’ V8, which now produces 2031 bhp and 1445 lb-ft of torque. This allows it to go from 0–200mph in just 10.3 seconds!

Engine
The reworked V8 benefits from Ilmor’s expertise, including bespoke billet aluminium pistons, uprated fuel injectors, lightweight valve covers, and a set of massive mirror-image 76/80 Next Gen turbochargers.
Suspension
A new adaptive suspension setup allows drivers to switch between five modes, Sport, Road Race, Drag, Wet, and F5. This allows the driver to choose anything from relaxed cruising to aggressive track performance. On-road comfort has also improved, while on track, drivers now have increased grip, precision, and stability through corners.
Aerodynamics
Aerodynamic updates were guided by Dr Mark Handford, known for his work in Formula One and IndyCar. The team focused heavily on underbody airflow, redesigning the front splitter and integrating dive planes, wheel arch louvres, and tyre wake deflectors. At the rear, a new Gurney lip helps keep the car planted under acceleration and braking.
Touring Upgrades
Acknowledging owners are looking to use their cars beyond the track, Hennessey now offers optional touring upgrades. These include a new seat design with added bolstering and comfort for long drives, an alternative touring exhaust, and even a carbon fibre drinks holder. The Touring Carbon Seats feature a laser-cut “blast off” motif in keeping with the F5’s aerospace-inspired cabin.
Available Now—New or Retrofit
The Evolution package is available for all Venom F5 variants, Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution, and can be fitted to existing cars or specified on new orders. The full upgrade is priced at $285,000, with Touring options available separately.
