The Goodwood Revival will celebrate Alfa Romeo as 2025 marks the centenary of the marque’s victory in the inaugural Manufacturer’s World Championship. As part of the celebrations, an on-track demonstration will show off some of Alfa Romeo’s most legendary racing machines.
Taking place from Friday 12th – Sunday 14th September 2025, Goodwood Revival will include a huge range of Grand Prix cars, sports cars, touring cars, and prototypes that have shaped Alfa Romeo’s competitive history. From the 24 Hours of Le Mans to the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio, these cars have certainly made an impact in the world of motorsport.

A Century of Motorsport Excellence
Among the cars expected to take part in the celebration are:
- The Alfa Romeo 158 ‘Alfetta’ – the first-ever Formula 1 World Championship-winning car
- The Tipo 308C – a Grand Prix competitor from the pre-F1 era
- The TZ2 – Alfa Romeo’s lightweight endurance racer
- The Tipo 33 Prototypes – cars that defined the brand’s sports car success
Covering models from 1925 to 1975, the collection will highlight Alfa Romeo’s success in motorsport and will also include a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Alfa’s 1975 World Sportscar Championship victory.
The drivers who helped with Alfa Romeo’s racing success will also be honoured, including:
- Tazio Nuvolari – Alfa Romeo’s most celebrated pre-war driver
- Antonio Ascari – Four-time Grand Prix winner
- Giuseppe Farina – First Formula 1 World Champion
- Juan Manuel Fangio – Five-time Formula 1 World Champion
Goodwood In 2025
Earlier in the year, the Festival of Speed will feature a “Prologue” class as part of its F1 75 celebrations, bringing together cars that predate the World Championship, including several Alfa Romeo models.
Alongside this announcement, other exciting news already released includes the VW Type 2 Split Screen track opening parade and the event’s commitment to running an all-sustainable fuel race list.
