Goodbye Morgan Plus Six

As the first run of the all-new Morgan Supersport has begun, the end of the Plus Six era is now here!

After six years of production, the Plus Six has moved aside for the Supersport to take its place as the flagship model for the brand. To mark the occasion, Morgan team members all got together for a photo with the last Pinnacle to leave the factory. This was number 30 and brings the Plus Six era to an end.

The Plus Six made its debut in 2019 as the first model built on Morgan’s all-new CX-Generation bonded aluminium platform. It retained everything Morgan enthusiasts loved from its predecessor, the Plus 8, but added increased performance and usability. It had a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six engine from BMW, and could produce more than 300bhp.

As the final Plus Six rolled off the production line, it’s amazing to see Morgan paying a fitting tribute to an important car in its history.

Now, though, attention turns to the Supersport, Morgan’s next-generation flagship model that builds on the foundations laid by the Plus Six. With production underway, I’m looking forward to seeing the Supersport out on the road in the near future.

Goodbye Plus Six, hello Supersport!
