Our workshop team don’t just restore classic cars – we have been carrying out more recommissioning projects here at the Bridge Classic Cars Suffolk HQ. Just like this one, a 1972 MGB Roadster. Our technician Jon has been working on getting the B-Series engine fired up and then go through the check all the relevant systems. To begin with, Jon has had to use an external electric fuel pump to feed the carburettors and get the engine to fire up. Also upon checking, he found that the clutch had seized. That was broken loose and the pedal goes up and down freely.

After, the car was moved inside and onto the ramp for Jon to begin removing the clutch slave cylinder.
