The 1969 Audi 70L restoration is progressing quickly here at the Bridge Classic Cars restoration HQ. Our technician Dave has been working his way through the various systems of the classic, ultra-rare Audi but this time its mostly been all under the bonnet.

Dave has been setting the harness into position and other various power supplies and cables so he can mak sure that nothing interferes with any of the units in the engine bay such as the water pump pulley, alternator, etc.

After the harness had been laid out, Dave could begin to test fit the various engine bay components in position such as the coil and balast resistor. At the same time, Dave could sort out the throttle linkage and gear linkages.

Dave then had to make some adjustments to the bracketry to get everything to fit up and align correctly.

Whilst awaiting parts for the engine bay, Dave could turn his attention to the exterior of the car. He has built up the headlights into the buckets and fit the surrounds which have been recently polished to look as good as new. Once these were done, Dave could fit the rear door pads before beginning final door adjustments and testing.
