Our paint and body technician Mauro has been working alongside our technician Greg to get the 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe ready for the next phase of its restoration. Mauro has been preparing the body shell and one-piece aluminium front clamshell with several rounds of panel leveling, panel gapping and hours of sanding and filing.

Once ready, the bodyshell and clamshell were cleaned down, prepped, clean down again and then prepped once more before Mauro could lay down the epoxy primer onto the ultra-rare Aston Martin.
