Whilst working on the 1969 Audi L 72PS, our restoration technician Will has found an issue with the fuel system. Previously, we had the fuel tank coated internally but the coating has begun to flake away inside the tank which has not just contaminated the fuel but found its way through the system. With the tank out and being investigated, Will has taken about the various parts to begin to clean them out. Whilst also looking into an issue of the fuel sender not reading correctly.
Whilst the workshop team await the arrival of the repaired fuel tank, our logisitics team have moved the car over to our secure storage facility to free up workshop space for other classics.
