Our workshop team here at the Bridge Classic Cars workshops have been going through some of the jobs on this 1996 Bentley Continental R. First up, our technician Steve has been looking into the cause of a slight leak from the cars gearbox.
Once Steve had removed the pan, he could take his time cleaning up and preparing the sump for a new gasket whilst also taking the opportunity to replace the filter before fitting everything back up and refilling the gearbox.
After the gearbox had been repaired, the car was moved over to our fabrication workshop to get a few small areas of corrosion sorted.
The 90s V8 coupe was brought into the fabrication shop and up on the ramp for Greg to begin diving into a small areas of corrosion. Greg carefully cut ou areas on the lower quarter panels and the sills before making patch panels and treating behind the piece before welding the area shut and ready for the paint and body team to carry out the small areas of paint repair.
