The longest part of all paint work, is in the preparation. Our paint and body manager Chris spent most of yesterday and part of this morning getting the 1970 Aston Martin DBS Vantage ready for its first coat of paint here at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ.
After scuffing, cleaning, recleaning, checking over, cleaning once more, masking up the car, then reclean everything and just before Chris laid down the first burst of black paint he quickly cleaned it down once again. Chris has been painting the engine bay, cabin, parcel shelf, suspension, chassis, front valance inside and whole host of more areas meticulously.
It’s always a priviledge to get to go into the booth to which Chris work.
