Our 1995 TVR Chimaera, which was recently won by our very lucky player Thomas, has been back into the Bridge Classic Cars workshop to have its pre-delivery inspection as well as a couple of repairs before it is loaded up and headed off to its new home.
Here’s what our technician Jon has been doing:
”Remove both washer pipes and unblock all holes. Secure with cable ties and test, working now. Remove grille and tighten connection to offside front sidelight. Cut trickle charger crocodile clips off leads and solder eye terminals on. Then connect to battery. Charge battery.
Make new exhaust mount for rear tailpipe. Used a spare mount from stock and modify old cable end and fit and secure. Visually inspect brakes. Inflate tyres and torque wheels.”

After Jon had finished with his mechanical work, the car was handed over to our logistics coordinator Tony to get the car ready for its long journey to its new owner.
