Jonn investigated a non-start issue on our 1963 Fiat 500 and found that the starter motor had once again come loose.

When attempting to disconnect the battery, the bonnet release cable broke, but he was able to open the bonnet manually. A replacement cable will be required.

After disconnecting the battery, Jonn removed the starter motor and discovered that the gearbox bellhousing was broken once more. A full strip-down will be necessary to carry out a complete assessment of the damage.
