2026 continues to be an incredibly busy and exciting year here at Bridge Classic Cars.

February has seen progress and growth in pretty much every part of the business, so the entire team has certainly been working hard.

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to in February 2026…

Workshop

The workshop team continue to work their magic on some extremely special cars. I’m always amazed at how a car can come into the workshop looking completely unsalvageable, only for it to drive out of the workshop at the end of its time here looking better than it did when it first left the factory.

  • 1975 MGB GT V8 – The paint and body team have reached one of the first milestones with the 1975 MGB GT V8, as the bodyshell is now in primer and ready for our paint and body technician, Adam, to begin panel levelling.
  • 1960 Austin Healey 3000 –This was completed and is now back with its owner to enjoy some rally stages. It will be back with us later on in the year for us to prepare it for the London to Lisbon rally.
  • 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe – The body of this very rare Aston has been removed, and the team have been working on various parts of it in preparation for paint.
  • 1960 Jensen 541R – The interior trim team have got the bespoke carpets and mats into the car. With every Jensen being slightly different, each piece has to be individually made to fit that specific car, and this one is looking fantastic.

We’ve also welcomed some new arrivals to the workshop this month, including:

  • 1987 Ford Capri Brooklands 2.8 – the nostalgic classic came in for some dent repair work
  • 1952 MG TD – a brief visit to the workshop from this stunning classic before it was safely tucked away in our secure storage facility.

To see what has been happening throughout the rest of the workshop, you can see all of our current projects here.

Competitions

In February, we found nine more winners of some very special prizes in our competitions. From rare whisky to an Aston Martin, it’s been great to add more winners to our competition community.

Our free classic car sales platform, MyClassics, continues to grow with some fantastic cars now available, including a 2000 Alfa Romeo 916 Spider and a 1967 MGB Roadster.

You can see all of the cars currently for sale here.

Media

February has also been a busy month on the media side of things.

We shared our review of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross. We also came into the possession of an extremely rare piece of British car manufacturing history in the form of a press that was once used to make badges for Jenson Cars.

Craig and Gordon got up close and personal with a Hillman Imp with just 464 miles on the clock, Bridge Classic Cars turned 22, and Ayrton Senna’s Lotus 98T is up for sale!

All of the big automotive news stories from February can be seen here.

Our Talking Classics series also continued with a great interview with Mark Carbery from Marcos Motor Company.

Bridge Classic Cars Kids

We are incredibly proud that Bridge Classic Cars Kids has been named a finalist in the Behaviour Change Campaign of the Year category at the Clean & Green Awards 2026!

The awards are all about celebrating sustainability, innovation and environmental leadership across East Anglia.

Our kids program was launched to use classic cars and storytelling to help educate and encourage the next generation to understand history, sustainability and community, so we are extremely pleased to be finalists.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 26th March 2026.

You can find more information about our school tour and our other child-friendly content here.
