Drive A Car With Just One Pedal

Renault has added special technology to some of its electric cars that helps drivers use mostly one pedal instead of two. Normally, drivers use one pedal to go and another pedal to stop. But with one-pedal driving, lifting your foot off the accelerator helps the car slow down all on its own.

By doing this, the car doesn’t waste that slowing-down energy. Instead, it turns some of it back into electricity to recharge the battery a little bit while driving. That’s called regenerative braking.

This can help make driving smoother, save energy, and help the car travel further before needing to charge again.

Lots of modern electric cars can already do this, but Renault’s newest cars now have stronger and smarter systems to make it even easier to use.
