Door Adjustments and Locks on the 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe

Mauro, one of our amazing paint and body technicians, has been methodically and painstakingly carrying out the adjustments on the doors of the 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Drophead Coupe.

It isn’t just the panel gaps on the ultra rare Aston Martin that Mauro has been working on, he’s also been adjusting and fitting the door lock mechanisms and making sure they are spaced out correctly so that when closed they meet up perfectly with the other panels. Whilst Mauro worked on the shut lines, our fabricator Clinton has been making up new door furniture from scrath specifically for this car.
