This 1991 TVR V8S has made its way back to the Bridge Classic Cars restoration workshop for the team to dive into an issue of the car not starting. Our workshop manager, and wiring guru, John has been looking into the issue.
”Battery went flat and after charging it wouldnt start. Remove glove box and check fuses. No dash lights present. Check wiring and power supply to ecu. No feed to relays or ecu check wiring at ignition switch. All wiring okay. Check wiring at immobiliser power okay. Bypass immobilised circuits to see if dash lights illuminate. And vehicle cranks over. Reconnect relay and test. Vehicle starts and runs. Remove immobiliser immobilised circuits and tidy up wiring. And refit parts removed.”
After John got the car fired up and tested, it was handed over to our logistics team to transport it to the upcoming auction by our friends at Anglia Car Auctions.
