The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray has officially been revealed in the UK, making its debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s the first electrified, all-wheel-drive Corvette, and it looks incredible!

This new Corvette has been designed to give everyday usability without compromising on raw performance. Offered as both a coupe and a convertible, the E-Ray is priced from £153,440 (coupe) and £159,230 (convertible). Right-hand drive models are now available to order, with deliveries starting this September.

Hybrid Power

The all-new Corvette E-Ray has a 6.2-litre LT2 V8, delivering 482hp to the rear axle. It’s paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 161hp, powered by a 1.9kWh battery between the seats. Together, they produce a combined 643hp. This is enough to launch the E-Ray from 0 to 62mph in just 2.9 seconds, making it the quickest production Corvette ever to be available in the UK.

This set-up also means that the E-Ray doesn’t need to be plugged in. Instead, the battery charges itself through regenerative braking, coasting, and daily driving.

Corvette E-Ray Performance

With its eAWD system, the E-Ray adapts to changing road conditions by automatically sending power to the wheels that need it most. There is also the very cool-named Stealth Mode.

Stealth Mode allows for all-electric driving up to 44mph over a short range. While you may not get the same speed and power in this mode, you do get the option to drive through town without making a huge amount of noise. You’ll still get plenty of attention thanks to the impressive look of the car, though!

Track-Ready

Standard kit on the Corvette E-Ray includes Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, and staggered Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tyres (or optional Sport 4S rubber). Inside, drivers get a fighter jet-inspired cockpit, head-up display, performance telemetry recorder, and wireless smartphone integration.

The E-Ray’s drive modes, Tour, Sport, Track, Weather, My Mode, and Z-Mode, let the driver fine-tune everything from throttle response to suspension behaviour. A Charge+ function can also be used to maximise battery state of charge.

Design

Visually, the E-Ray shares the Z06’s wide stance, adding functional aerodynamics and model-exclusive styling. Unique alloy wheel designs, carbon fibre accents, and ten exterior colours make the E-Ray stand out from other similar cars. Inside, personalisation options include multiple carbon trim packages, seat choices, and over 20 interior colour combinations.

The Corvette E-Ray launched in the UK at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025. I’m looking forward to seeing this attention-grabbing car out on the road very soon!
