The Bridge Classic Cars workshop team carried out a full and comprehensive appraisal of the 1985 Mercedes 280SL here at our restoration HQ in Suffolk.
”Carry out full appraisal. Looks a nice car. Inflate all tyres. Torque wheel nuts. Secure front number plate. Check axle oil level. Tighten nearside door handle. Run up and check auto gearbox oil level, OK. Test roof. Remove hard top but cable won’t release centre lock. Access and open catch. Remove roof and attended to cable. Adjust cable and test. Raise convertible soft top all OK. Refit hard top. Fitnew wiper blades when they arrive.”
Once signed off by the workshop, the car was loaded into our secure and enclosed transport trailer for Molly and John to join Tony on the journey to deliver the car to its new owner.
