Our technician Greg has been progressing his way through the metalwork repairs on our barn find 1970 Aston Martin DBS. Greg has been working his way through the entire car to make sure it is a sound base for the team to begin transforming the rare classic GT car back to its former glory.
Greg has made a whole new upper valance panel to fit the new grille into, and with that made new headlight buckets as well as trim pieces. Each of these have to have countless small adjustments made to them in order for the fit to have correct gaps and line up. After that, Greg could begin to strip down and breakdown the brake system for it to be refurbished and vapor blasted like the master cylinder and proportioning valve. Whilst Greg awaited for some parts to arrive at the Bridge Classic Cars HQ, he carried out a series of small frame repairs on the DBS.
Once Greg finished repairing the chassis, he could move onto getting the front grille position finalised in the nose of the classic Aston Martin.
